Rockland Food Bank gives out some holiday help

Jean Coutu Rockland also donated 200 capons, while Tim Hortons presented a cheque of the profits made from the Smile Cookie initiative. Santa Claus was also pres- ent throughout the morning of the event to greet and take pictures with the children.

The RocklandHelp Centre held its annual event, handing out Christmas food vouch- ers and gifts to families that are signed up for the Rockland Food Bank. On Tuesday, December 19, many families and volunteers gathered at Club Powers in Rockland for the Food Bank’s final event of the year – the Rockland Christmas hampers.

Working with the editor, the selected candidate will be expected to:
r identify, conduct research and write articles on a variety of topics; r conduct interviews and write inspirational profiles on community leaders and other community members; r liaise with community members to foster good relations, obtain information as well as photos for publication in the print media and electronic platforms; r cover different community events, take photographs, shoot videos, update website and perform other related duties, as required.
