EKKA’S KEPPEL DAGWOOD DOG EATING COMPETITION WHEN: 12pm August 20 WHERE: XXXX Stockmen’s Bar and Grill (O-6) Ekka’s Keppel Dagwood Dog Eating Competition is the ultimate food challenge. Back by popular demand for a fourth year, the competition will feature two classes - Amateur and Professional. Competitors will have 10 minutes to eat 20 Keppel Dagwood Dogs, or as many as possible. STOCKMAN’S REST (N-5) VARIETY OF ENTERTAINMENT Stockman’s Rest will be jam packed with a variety of entertainment over the nine days of Show. From dogs leaping to great heights in the Canine Competition presented by Sushi Hub to quirky photo opportunities involving dairy cows wearing flower crowns and goat yoga - Stockman’s Rest has it all! You’ll also see farriers and blacksmiths in action forging and hammering custom objects, and poets belting out bush ballads. STOCKMAN’S REST HIGHLIGHTS

Witness raw strength as more than 40 men and women compete in the Australian Armwrestling Federation Queensland Championships. The battle of the biceps will take place across lightweight, middleweight and heavyweight classes in a double elimination competition. The competitive arm wrestlers range from world title contenders to husbands and wives. This is one competition sure to strong arm some new fans at the Ekka! EKKA'S LINE DANCING HOEDOWN DELIVERED BY DOMINOS WHEN:11am August 16 WHERE: XXXX Stockmen’s Bar and Grill (O-6) Kick up your heels and join in the fun at Ekka's Line Dancing Hoedown delivered by Dominos. The event will include social dancing, competition demonstrations, beginner workshops for the public and the Queensland Club Challenge. The hoedown will involve more than 80 boot-scooting dance instructors, club members and students from across Queensland.

Kids and adults will once again be clogging at XXXX Stockmen’s Bar and Grill. Clogging is an energetic and percussive dance form from the mid- 1700s. Over time, the influence of tap dancing and Canadian step dancing shaped the modern clogging we see today. It is a dance form enjoyed by all ages from 8-year-olds to 80-year-olds. Brisbane’s Confidance Cloggers dance to a wide range of music including pop, country, hip hop, bluegrass and latin.
