Accessibility The Ekka is dedicated to providing ease of access for all visitors, ensuring everyone can enjoy Queensland’s most iconic event. A range of services and amenities will be available to support accessibility across the Brisbane Showgrounds including: Exhibition Station upgrades featuring step-free access via ramps and lifts, as well as hearing aid loops Scooter, wheelchair and stroller hire available daily from 9am to 5pm, located under the John MacDonald Stand Accessible restrooms located throughout the grounds, including additional portable facilities Ramps to provide easy access between roads and footpaths, as well as into pavilion entrances. Lifts are also available on each level of the Channel Seven Pavilion and the Large Animal Pavilion Dedicated accessibility drop-off and pick-up zones for cars and taxis on Costin Street Two wheelchair-accessible viewing areas in the Main Arena Disability parking spaces available in the King Street Car Park Certified guide, hearing and assistance dogs permitted entry to the Ekka
Sustainability The Ekka’s commitment to sustainability continues to grow in 2025, guided by the RNA’s 10-year Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy launched in 2023. It is an organisational-wide approach that adjusts the RNA’s environmental, social and governance practices to increase business sustainability.
