Positioned beside the buzzing Fashions on the Field Pavillion, the seated dining activation will offer a curated menu of Chin Chin classics designed for racegoers who want an elevated experience without missing the action.

Yakimono takes over
Dining by Society takes up residence in the Byerley for Cup Week, bringing a refined new dining experience to Club Stand Members. Executive Chef Joachim Lim has curated a European-inspired menu paired with an extensive wine and beverage list, served at reserved tables with private seating just outside the restaurant – close enough to watch the racing, removed enough to enjoy the meal.
Melbourne’s Yakimono brings its high-energy Japanese eating house to The Birdcage for 2026. Members and guests can expect the same electric atmosphere that’s made the restaurant a city favourite, condensed into a dedicated retail station beside the live stage – fast, punchy Japanese bites built for grazing between races.

A new lobby for the Club Stand
The new Lobby Bar in the Club Stand’s east lounge is designed to provide Members an additional hospitality destination, with easy access to the front lawn and Betting Ring. It’s another way for Members to make the most of their membership, giving you more room to gather, unwind and make a day at Flemington your own.
