Breakfast with the stars
Watch dawn break over Flemington as the Melbourne Cup Carnival’s leading contenders stride out for their final paces. The VRC Trackwork Breakfast returns for 2026, giving members and racing fans a rare look behind the scenes as Flemington’s top trainers put the world’s best thoroughbreds through their paces. Watch from the Terrace Restaurant and Hill Stand deck, with coffee, tea and an egg and bacon roll included.

Three legends, one visit
Step inside the stories of three of Australia's greatest racehorses with exclusive exhibitions at Flemington. 'The Perfect Run' traces Black Caviar's unbeaten 25-start career through trophies, memorabilia and a photo gallery of every win. Nearby, a centenary exhibition honours Phar Lap. And in the Hill Stand, 'Makybe Diva: Queen of the Cups' marks the first Crown Makybe Diva Stakes Day since the great mare's passing, with her ashes on public display for the first time alongside all three of her Melbourne Cup trophies. Find 'The Perfect Run' in The Forum, 'Phar Lap: A Century On' in The Park, and 'Makybe Diva: Queen of the Cups' in the Hill Stand.
