Philanthropy Report 2025

Development Shelley Keach Senior Development Manager Running the development programme at Christ’s College continues to be a great privilege, and this past year has been both varied and rewarding. I am delighted that we are able to present this Philanthropy Report, which showcases the breadth and impact of giving across the College community. Many of the opportunities and initiatives we now enjoy would not have been possible without the generosity of our donors and sponsors. From ambitious building projects and the establishment of the College Museum, to supporting our sporting programmes and helping fund our annual drama productions, philanthropy continues to shape and strengthen the life of the College. I am deeply grateful to all of our supporters for their generosity, partnership, and belief in Christ’s College. I look forward to continuing these relationships together into the future.

Philanthropy in action

Andrew and Nicky Harrison are exemplary philanthropists whose generosity has made a

profound difference within the College community. Over the past seven years, they have funded basketball scholarships for eight boys who would otherwise not have had the opportunity to attend Christ’s College. Beyond financial support, Andrew and Nicky have extended extraordinary care and generosity, often welcoming these students into their home, and providing a warm and supportive environment during their time at College. Their impact has been life-changing. Several of these boys have gone on to attend college in the United States on basketball scholarships, reflecting both their talent and the opportunities made possible through this support.

Andrew also played a key role in establishing the current basketball programme at College, following the interest of Andrew and Nicky’s sons, Tom and Will. Since then, the programme has gone from strength to strength and continues to thrive.
