– Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation for the key concepts, learning and ALGEE ® action plan – Create opportunities for peer-to-peer learning with effective questioning skills – Use a range of skills and activities (appropriate to the learners and the product) to engage learners with – Encourage all learners to actively participate – Effectively manage the group dynamics and discussions – Confidently challenge and manage any negative language, attitude or behaviours displayed by learners – Provide appropriate safety warnings and opt-out options/wellbeing reminders – Pay attention to learner engagement during the live sessions – Where required, confidently and effectively manage any signs of distress – Only share personal experiences, knowledge and/or anecdotes that enhance the learning experience and remain relevant to the context of the session and subject matter – Actively encourage learner evaluation feedback on the course delivered by allocating specific time at the end of the course for learners to complete the evaluation feedback – Complete all administrative requirements via the Instructor Member dashboard to confirm course completion by the learners Associate Instructors In addition to the above, Associate Instructors are also expected to: – Research the client to prior to the introductory call with the client. This will

give you a good understanding of the client organisation – Demonstrate relevant sector specific knowledge and experience – Where appropriate, use this knowledge to contextualise and enhance the overall learning experience – Ensure that the completed Associate Instructor feedback form is sent to the Training and Consultancy Directorate via email within 48 hours of completing the course delivery National Trainers In addition to the requirements detailed above, when delivering an Instructor Training Programme, National Trainers are also required to: – Prepare to deliver the course collaboratively with their co-delivering National Trainer. You are encouraged to distribute the workload evenly. We recommend speaking before the programme starts to discuss how you will co-deliver the course – Comply with the information and instructions in the National Trainer guidance document which is available on the National Trainer section of the Instructor Member dashboard – Monitor and ensure that learners have completed the required individual learning activities – Where required, support guest speakers to manage any challenging situations during the plenary sessions – Ensure that learners understand both the assessment process for their performance during the programme, and the subsequent sign-off process – Continually observe and assess the learners, including formally during the co-
