OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS Membership Survey Vision/Mission Statements/Core Values Page 8

80. The pet facilities are far from excellent. We know there is work being considered/done in this area but not fast enough. Every phase should have a pet section just like they have a satellite with amenities. There are unused green spaces in each phase that could be converted to a pet section. All owners share those green spaces, not just the owners who border them. 81. As far as "words" go, these are good statements. But whether we are actually striving to achieve the meaning behind these statements is questionable. Hard decisions have to be made and we are not sure those in charge are willing to make those hard decisions. For example, the rigs in our resort run the gambit from "trailer trash" to "luxury coach." When will we make the decision that all 5th Wheels have to be full body paint to bring them up to the standard of a Class A current motor coach? Without some changes in rig appearances, we should strike the "Premier RV Resort." 82. Renters are not welcomed as they deserve to be. Many owners are quite snobbish to renters. The daily resort fee charged to renters is unfair and is unjustified. Other than minor admin costs, renters create no additional expenses, beyond the HOA fees already paid by the vacant owner. Many renters do not golf, so it is inappropriate to use resort fees as a means to fund golf expenses. For these reasons, it is becoming more and more difficult to attract quality renters. 83. To be a premier resort you need to keep all areas clean. Tennis courts and pickleball courts must be cleaned on a schedule. The windscreens are filthy. You have dogs peeing and defecating by people playing tennis and pickleball - it's disgusting. The grass there has died and you just fixed it so it looked so nice and now converting to dg - we need green around work out areas! 84. Strongly disagree with the recent changes regarding the golf staff. There are hundreds of golf pros in the valley to help our members with their needs. We definitely don’t need nor can we afford pros to run the course. It’s overkill. Very unhappy with the continuing increases in the daily user fees for lot rentals. One of the downsides to our wonderful life here is that it is very hard to rent accommodations for family and friends. Although a small user fee is reasonable, there seems to be no limit to the increases making rentals more & more expensive. I’m concerned that the board continues to raise fees for grandiose ideas like the golf staff. What’s next? 85. Sounds good, but landscaping by Vintage on lots is not at all satisfactory. Satellite D is in dire need of a makeover. Lighting is poor, washrooms and outside shower are very poor shape. Surface to pool is not clean. 86. All lots should have Wi-Fi to their lots through the existing line that bring in our TV. Aalso all roads should have cats eyes in the center 87. The vision Statement is not being held or brought to fruition. "Premier" means "First Class". ORPS is not holding the standard of a premier RV Resort. Many of the units on lots are substandard to "Premier". The Mission Statement and Core Values I feel are excellent. 88. I find that sometimes the board or management do not listen to the majority of the owners. For example, replacing the trees at the front. Majority said it wasn’t necessary but they were replaced anyway.
