217. Very dissatisfied with the social culture that fosters what I consider to be the most dog unfriendly resort that advertises itself as a dog friendly resort. In my opinion the dog parks are atrociously small for the size of the park, very remote, dirty and near a dirty garbage area, a joke around court areas with the slope of these areas and narrowness of the grass. So you alienate a large group of dog owners. I met no one that liked the dog policies. I will not return for this and other reasons. Again in my opinion first site we were in had a depression that had accumulated a mess of water and some sewage debris, evidenced by toilet paper debris. I have never seen something this bad in many years of RV travel. It took Phil and the administration around five days to deal inadequately with clearing this. Their spraying it off with a pressure washer just to the one side of the RV resulted in the lower RV on that side accumulating some splash debris and pushing other debris under the RV rather than clearing it. I consider what was done very unsanitary. The second site was satisfactory but with a person clearly unfriendly to dogs. It is highly unlikely we would ever consider buying a lot or staying at ORPS again. 218. This resort needs to be concerned about the rapidly rising HOA costs. Especially since the large population of Canadian owners and the rapidly declining Canadian $. This current board seems to be hell bent on raising the rates to a very uncomfortable level. And their spending is a dismal flop - speaking only about the ES pool deck money pit and closure that happened for 2 years in a row. If the rates continue to increase at the current pace we will have NO other choice than to sell. It’s just not friendly to Canadian owners with the unstable dollar. 219. The resort uses the words “inclusivity” and “positive social culture”, but those do not describe the environment. I wish the resort was more welcoming to all people, no matter age, family size, or social status. Unfortunately, there are many who are excluded. 220. I have been in the resort for 16 years. To me I have the feeling some people in the resort are not very curious to others (speeding, not stopping at signs, leaving sink areas in bathrooms a mess and not keeping up their lots). 221. There was nothing wrong with the one created October 2018. This board wasted time looking backwards instead of forward. This one is totally watered down with no meat. A board can now do almost anything at Will. Bring back the previous one. This board didn’t even bother to consult those that created the one from one year ago. 222. Core values not practiced. Removal of private events on golf course exclude owners. Unacceptable, this practice would not be tolerated if pickleball or tennis did such a thing. 223. To be a premier RV resort you need to: 1. Provide WiFi, resort wide; 2. Improve security. Install video surveillance on resort parameters. 3. Satellites and laundry facilities should be open 24 hours. 4. Renters’ fees should be illuminated to restore the rental income previously earned by RV owners. Today, you are double dipping because renters don’t add additional expenses to ORPS. One-time check in fee and/or golf fee would be much more appropriate. 224. Not happy with the decision by the board to spend major capital from the reserve on what they think the resorts requires. Any major capital to be spent on projects should be put out for voting from the Owner's as this is their money, not the Board's.
