OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS Membership Survey Clubhouse Comments/Suggestions Page 7

102. Comments are for the Bar area. High tables and chairs are terrible. Most highchairs wobble or have lose wood pieces. High tables are terrible to use they will not sit still and are wobbly. Need tables and chairs to be more permanent so we can get quality ones that do not have to move every time there is an event. The new small shorter round table purchased this year are much better than using all the larger ones. Need a bar that is consistent in hours open and does not close for events. Move this to the unused Owners Lounge. That way we still have a bar open when there are events going on in the ballroom. Needs an attractive bar like atmosphere. It has no welcoming appearance. The Owners Lounge can be converted to have atmosphere. The bar we have now is not set up properly to handle large events as the line ups are so long when the events start. The set-up is not easy for the bartenders to move around. The clubhouse itself is still in great shape for events in the ballroom. Bathrooms are great and the new kitchen when open will work for what we need it to do. 103. The clubhouse is out of date as to how the area is used for entertainment, dancing and bringing people together. The floor plan and tables need to be re-done to a modern standard. The bar is terrible...it needs to be semi-separate but to create a place to gather and enjoy a cocktail and also service the large need for group. This again is about the floor plan...the space exists but is out of date. 104. No kitchen all year. Understand that ovens were not replaced in remodel. Needed new ovens. 105. Cleanliness of these facilities is a 5 on a scale of 1-10. No attention to daily cleaning. No attention of detail. No guidance of management. 106. Not happy with stage in front of fireplace. There’s already a wonderful stage there. Why the extra expense of an additional one? 107. We have been without a kitchen for the entire season. Better planning should have taken place so that the kitchen was up and running during peak season. The surface around the pool is atrocious. It is filthy and slippery, and more research should have gone into types of surfaces before installing what is there now. Bad value for the dollar. Also why is a portable stage in front of the fireplace being utilized when there is an existing stage in the ballroom. Several people have tripped or run into this portable stage, some of them really hurting themselves. The flea market and craft sales need to have significantly more origination. There is always a fight over table placement and whose tables are whose. This last one was the worst yet for organization. There needs to be a leader in charge. Also we would like to know what happened to the old kitchen equipment i.e. stove. Also what happened to the beautiful water fountain that used to sit on the ES pool deck. 108. It is despicable that we have NOT had a kitchen at ES for over a year. I blame the Board for allowing this to happen. 109. Of course everyone knows that this kitchen Reno is a disaster. Being in the construction business my whole life, I cannot understand the delays.

110. Consider updating the interior over the next couple of years

111. Please use the stage for entertainment and not block the fireplace.
