260. Just like the pool renovations the kitchen renovation has proven to be a complete joke. There is absolutely no schedule that is followed or contractors having to account for their time. Also the cleaning girls spend way too much time chatting amongst themselves instead of getting their job done. If I ask them a question about something that is wrong with the facilities; I just get brushed off. Like the soap dispenser on the left sink that only works 50 percent of the time. And shower heads that r broken or need de scaling. It just doesn’t happen. 261. Some areas seem somewhat outdated. The ES kitchen was not functional at all during the 2019-2020 season. Hopefully it will be fully functional next season. 262. The owners lounge always has an awful smell to me. It is really outdated and could use some brightness. It is somber in there. 263. I think that the ES ballroom could use some decor improvements, but I rarely use the space, so it doesn’t make much of a difference to me. 264. Major problem surrounding both LP and ES facilities is the dog relief area that was just approved by the board. 265. One of the indoor shower heads (Women's side) at the La Palma pool has been broken for a long time (the slider will not stay put). It was this way in Spring of last year (2019) and the last time I used it (January 2020) it was still broken. I did report it last year. It is the first shower next to the row of toilet stalls (not the separate handicap shower). I don't know the status of that as of today (03/1/2020). A couple of the edge tiles are still broken/missing at the pools, Jacuzzis. I would have to create a list as to each one. We haven't been there since Feb 9 when we went home to San Diego to take care of some business, recuperate from a bad cold we both caught in the desert, etc. So I don't know what has been repaired since. In spite of the nice big new pool rules signs, people still bring in glass and pets. I do think both those signs should be separate and right on all the pool gates on entry and yet another LARGE print sign about glass in plain view... right now it is hidden in the rules. At Satellite B, for example, the glass sign could be on the wall facing the pool where the pool equipment is enclosed. Craziness has ensued since which is why we have not been back out... and we plan to back out there this Friday (March 20) to pack up our lot a bit since this quarantine has hit... and my husband (Owner 1) wants to play golf at the resort and in the desert. We don't know at what point the quarantine will actually lift (we are thinking possibly a couple of months) and if it will still be cool enough to stay there after it does. We usually pack it up for the season when the temps hit 105° consistently and/or we can't cool the 5th wheel down enough at night to sleep comfortably. We really don't like running the cooling system 7/24. 266. LP has an overall outdated interior appearance. Unable to determine if ES kitchen facilities are useful or not because we never got to use them this year. 267. Bar area is poorly designed and not functional. Owners lounge is underutilized. Bar could be in owners lounge 268. Open bar needs new bar stools that are more comfortable. West room needs to be available to more than one activity. Events need to have info more available to people who stop in. Pool deck needs to be cleaned. Dog relief should not be allowed near clubhouse and sport courts. Looks terrible!
