278. I don’t like the new pet relief areas. It’s on a hill and I’ve heard it’s hard to walk around. Someone could twist an ankle. Whose idea was it? Surely not pet owners. 279. The exterior bathroom at LP although it has a bar it does not meet disabilities standards. The toilet is too low to the ground. There is no disability stall on the inside. 280. The staff in the lifestyles office need training. They are very disrespectful to owners. The bar staff need proper training over serving and pouring drinks with too much alcohol is a practice done daily. The staff on the golf course is useless. 281. We mostly go to La Palma but we are generally very satisfied with the maintenance of the resort 282. I think the owners lounge is NOT being utilized enough. I would like to see the bar (far too small) and the owners lounge merged together. It feels so cavernous and without character. 283. Sound System is awful in both club houses. Can’t rate the ES kitchen because we haven’t seen it yet. We really need the ability use the West room for more than 1 club! Activities storeroom is impossible to keep tidy. Needs a major clean out of the bins and throw out broken or unusable items. 284. Would love to see a restaurant at the ES Clubhouse that overlooks the golf course and incorporates the Owners Lounge and the new kitchen (when it is finally completed) somehow. And is more inviting and comfortable than the banquet-like setting we have now. Would also like beverage and food service available poolside. Would also like to see more meeting areas and a place for the Committees to meet that has voice and video conferencing capabilities and provide workspace for Committee chairs with printing and copying capabilities. Would also like to be able to split the ballroom into smaller rooms for activities that take place that have small groups and don’t require the use of the entire ballroom. Also both clubhouses need makeovers in their appearance.
285. ES clubhouse entrance should allow cart parking like LP
286. I think there has been enough time and money put into ES clubhouse, now it’s time for LP, it needs some updating, new fridge at least. I’m not sure why most events are held at ES, and certainly not happy that the ice cream social has been moved to ES. I don’t really care for the flooring at the ES pool, slippery and much too light.
287. The large gathering areas are not very inviting, and we feel they should be updated
288. The ES outdoor toilets are closed overnight, security told me reason was staff would have to get out of golf cart to check overnight. This is unacceptable 289. The pool decking was a very bad choice. The tiles are slippery and being white are also always very dirty all the time. Not having Kitchen for an entire season was very inconvenient. Work should have been done in the off season. 290. The LP Clubhouse needs some updates. I love Bella Roma. The ES Clubhouse is fine, but the kitchen needs to be operational, the bar/19th hole is ok however they should have a beverage cart on the golf course. 291. The floor in LP is lifted and overall the room is a bit dated. Of course the kitchen in ES this season was a GREAT disappointment!
