OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS Membership Survey Clubhouse Comments/Suggestions Page 20

292. Pool tile is slippery and always looks dirty. There was no kitchen to comment on

293. If small rooms are going to be used right after another function, need to be sure they are vacuumed. 294. I think we need to do some work each year but within the budget set out by Brian Canfield, not just do renovations and then charge more for HOA. In my family budget when I need to do something, I save money first and then spend it. I don't spend it and then figure out how I am going to pay for it. 295. Of course the Kitchen not being operable this season was not acceptable. The bar area is not a real bar. We need to have a dedicated stand-alone bar. Able to be a proper bar atmosphere with multiple tv with multiple sports on at same time. One the has an actual bar atmosphere. No big concerts or if there is that it still remains an atmosphere for having conversations. Keep the volume levels down. Have entertainment like we are currently having but not close the bar for events. The main bar should not be in the ballroom when it can be closed for big events going on. We need the bar open 7 days a week with consistent hours and to always be open. No having to leave at 5:30pm for a scheduled event in the ballroom. 296. Get the kitchen done, check the freezers, storage room, cutlery etc. as they have been out of commission so need to be thoroughly cleaned etc. 297. Not sure why there is a coffee bar. We tried 4 different times to go there and it was closed. 298. Kitchen - have the renovations completed asap! Ballroom - needs to have sound engineering so that the sound system is able to function well (note that a good number of members are hearing impaired). Ballroom - needs a better sound system. 299. Facilities are a bit outdated; lighting seems to need improvement. Inside of both clubhouses seem a bit dreary. 300. The management of the kitchen remodel seems to be very poor; it seems as if there was very little foresight about the future. Because of gas and electrical limitations, I think we are ending up with the same limited capacity as before. If the money had been allocated for increasing the gas and electrical capacity upfront we would have more options for the future. I have been told that we have had to downgrade the appliances because of power limitations, 301. Maybe changes in staff are affecting my perception -no clear mission statement seen yet. Lots to do running this community I imagine. Laundries are in bad repair; pets are owned by many of RV owners and not given much attention re: designating area for dog parks. Otherwise we love this place. It’s our home away from home and we have made many friends that keep us wanting to live 1/2 of our year here. 302. The bar area is not comfortable and inviting. It feels like an afterthought and not a destination spot to meet new and old friends and neighbors. 303. Do not use the LP Clubhouse almost at all. ES Clubhouse is great. Ongoing kitchen renovations issue was very disappointing as it effected so many activities this year.

304. Fresh paint needed inside ES.

305. The kitchen needs to be ready for full-service fall of 2020.
