2. Electrical service. a. Licensed Contractor. All electrical work must be completed by a licensed electrical contractor, and according to current City electrical code. b. Location. Electrical service equipment for a manufactured house must not be installed in or on a manufactured house. c. Size. Size of electrical service must either be determined by the nameplate on the manufactured house, or comply with current City electrical code.

(4) Tie downs or ground anchors as required by Kansas statutes K.S.A. 75-1227, 75-1228. and 75-1230. (5) Electrical service connection. (6) Fuel gas connection. (7) Handrails and outside stairs, at each exit. c. Temporary Occupancy Certificate. When the items covered in the temporary final inspection are approved by the Building Official, a temporary occupancy certificate will be issued. d. Occupation. It is a violation of this article to occupy the manufactured housing until after all required inspections have been completed and approved. (1) The City must not release electrical or gas meters to the utility company until the manufactured housing is properly addressed, blocked and tied down. E. Standards for Installation of Manufactured Housing in Andover. 1. Requirements. All mobile homes or manufactured homes installed in the City of Andover must conform with the Model Manufactured Home Installation Standards shown in the Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (e-CFR), Title 24B, Chapter 20, Part 3285. a. Piers, foundations, tie downs, roof protectors, ground anchors and related appurtenances must conform to the requirements of K.S.A. 75-1226 et seq. , wherever they are more restrictive than the standards of e-CFR Title 24B, Chapter 20, Part 3285,

(1) In no event must an electrical service for a manufactured house be less than 100 amps.

d. Disconnect. Each manufactured house must have a non- fused means of disconnect within 30 feet of the house. e. Breakers. (1) In manufactured home parks , each manufactured house must have a main breaker. (2) Outside manufactured home parks , each manufactured house must have a main breaker, and room for at least 2 single pole breakers. f. All other electrical equipment, wiring, equipment and installation must conform to either the current Andover Electrical Code or the standards of e-CFR Title 24B, Chapter 20, Part 3285, whichever is more restrictive .
