LONGEST WARRANTY We offer a 20-year warranty for our radiators. HIGHEST DURABILITY
Operating pressure ‒ 20 bar. We manufacture top quality radiators that are designed for high operating pressure. You can be sure that the radiator will withstand large pressure peaks, e.g. when the system is filled. ANTI-CORROSION PROTECTION Thanks to the application of protective anti-corrosion layers already at the manufacturing stage, our radiators can be connected to any type of system, including the copper one. The application of the conversion coating (fluorozirconic treatment) is carried out by immersion. THERMAL EFFICIENCY The full heat sinks ensure optimal heat distribution, while the well-designed air blades control the air flow. The heated air is directed to the centre of the room and not upwards (onto the windowsill) or sideways (behind the radiator or onto the wall). PATENTED SOLUTION: BOTTOM CONNECTION Our radiators are available with side or bottom connection with a standard spacing of 500 and 350 mm. We offer universal straight or angular cross connection units with a standard spacing of 50 mm. It is also possible to mount supply sections on the right or left side of the radiator.

Are the KFA Armatura aluminium radiators suitable for any SYSTEMS, including those with copper pipes? Yes, they are. There is no risk of corrosion. Although it is well known that aluminium reacts with copper causing galvanic and electrochemical corrosion (which in turn leads to pitting corrosion), we have managed to solve this problem. Our aluminium radiators can also work without any problems in systems with steel radiators.
6
PROPER MATERIAL Our radiators are made of the highest quality aluminium alloy with a properly selected content of silicon, which guarantees good thermal conductivity. In the production process, we use high quality material with increased requirements for the group of elements of the chemical composition according to the KFA Armatura standard based on the PN-EN 1676 standard. ANTI-CORROSION COATINGS Our radiators are also designed to be used in copper systems, therefore they are subjected to the processes of applying protective insulating coatings already at the early production stage. By applying zirconium and anaphoretic coatings, the radiators are effectively protected against galvanic and electrochemical corrosion and can successfully operate in a copper system. FLUOROZIRCONIC TREATMENT We apply the conversion coating (fluorozirconic treatment) by immersion. Thanks to this process, a thin layer of coating is created both on the outer and inner side of the radiator. It protects the product against corrosion and increases the adhesion of the varnish. ANAPHORETIC VARNISHING The process of anaphoretic treatment with the use of acrylic varnish involves immersing radiators in a tank with waterborne varnish (suitable for electrodeposition) with a simultaneous flow of electric current through the varnish and the radiator. The applied layer perfectly covers the surface of the radiator, both inside and outside. As a result of the process, we obtain a highly corrosion-resistant coating with a thickness of 15–24 μm.
7
WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE OUR ALUMINIUM RADIATORS? | they can be successfully integrated into a copper system | thanks to low weight, they can be fixed to the wall easily | they are made of aluminium which ensures efficient thermal conductivity | the special shape of the radiator air blades facilitates the process of transferring the heated air | they have a modern profile | they are corrosion-resistant | thanks to low water capacity, they cooperate well with dynamic and automated systems | they are suitable for systems with gravitational water circulation | they are characterised by an extended heat transfer surface (section structure) | they can be controlled easily, which is an important feature especially during transitional periods when significant temperature fluctuations occur | they are packed in polyethylene foil and a cardboard box, which protects them against transport and storage damages The economical operation of a radiator contributes to heat savings and, consequently, leads to lowering energy bills. Our radiators are characterised by low water capacity and low weight, which is a huge advantage during transport or assembly.

FOR A STANDARD SYSTEM WITH HOT WATER SUPPLY FROM THE INTERNAL SIDE AND COLD WATER SUPPLY FROM THE EXTERNAL SIDE, WE OFFER 4 CONNECTION OPTIONS:
WATER SUPPLY CONNECTION The four-option bottom connection with a cross structure allows for connecting the radiator to any system easily, including that typical of a steel radiator.
If you want to replace a steel radiator with our aluminium radiator with bottom connection, you can choose an option which will match the existing arrangement of pipes ‒ left, right, straight or angular.

THE ABC OF HEATING Do not cover the radiators. In order to deliver the same amount of heat to the room, the radiator which is covered or built-in must have a higher temperature than the uncovered one. Move the furniture away from the radiators. The minimum distance between tables or sofas and the radiator is 10 cm. It is also a good idea to fix some shelves or widen the windowsills above the radiator, thanks to which the heated air will be directed to the centre of the room and not towards the window area where it will cool down quickly. If the walls behind the radiators are improperly insulated, you should install screens made of aluminium foil which can reflect heat. If you want to ventilate the room, you should turn off the radiator valves. The cold air which comes in through the open window will cool down the thermostat causing the maximum opening of the valve. It is much better to air the room more frequently but for a short time than once for a long time. remember to buy a THERMOSTATIC head!
