Our provision of Fire Safety services includes:
• Comprehensive Fire Risk Assessments completed for individual practices, as required by the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005 and the Fire Safety Act 2023 • Building fire safety audits • Bespoke fire marshal training to Standards • Face to face fire safety training to support mandatory practice training
In the 2025/26 period we provided support in:
147 fire risk assessments completed 387 fire marshals trained across the practices, improving general practice fire safety In the 2026/27 period, we intend to grow and expand the health & safety capabilities / offering by continuing to listen and adapt to ensure that Health & Safety works with general practice. Our Health & Safety Manager will work towards acquiring a DEC (Display Energy Certificate) accreditation so that NPC can also offer this service to practices.

For 2025/26, we continue to prioritise the integration of these elements into everyday service delivery, recognising their critical role in improving patient outcomes and supporting sustainable workforce development. Embedding education and research within Primary Care settings ensures that clinical practice remains evidence-based, innovative, and responsive to the evolving needs of our population. It also provides staff with ongoing opportunities for professional development, enabling them to maintain high standards of care and adapt to increasing service demands.
