patient feedback, including the ‘hello, my name is’ campaign and the Greenlight Champion role. The ICB also recognises NPC’s sustained focus on staff wellbeing, with positive plans to further expand current staff wellbeing initiatives. We note the reduction in response to the staff survey during this reporting period; however, the feedback suggests a strong, positive team culture across both clinical and non-clinical groups. As we move into the 2026/2027 period, we are pleased to see an ongoing focus on enhancing collaboration with system partners to support safe care transitions and protect patients from avoidable harm. We welcome the focus on recognising and improving the management of deteriorating patients within the community, for which collaboration with colleagues within the community, urgent care and secondary care will be key. The ICB endorses the Quality Improvement Priorities identified for 2026/2027. These priorities appropriately focus on strengthening community-based care, enhancing patient and staff experience and addressing health inequalities, with the support of local communities, Healthwatch and available population health data. We especially welcome the emphasis on improving early diagnosis and screening uptake, particularly within our underserved populations. The ICB recognises the challenges ahead and values the commitment shown by all staff across Norfolk Primary Care. The Quality Account provides an important opportunity to share with patients, carers, communities and staff the extensive work undertaken throughout the year and demonstrates a clear commitment to transparency, learning and continuous improvement. On behalf of NHS Norfolk and Suffolk ICB, I would like to personally thank all those involved in developing and producing this Quality Account, and all staff within Norfolk Primary Care for their continued dedication to delivering safe, effective and compassionate care. We look forward to working with you throughout 2026/2027. Kind regards
Karen Watts Director of Nursing and Quality NHS Norfolk and Suffolk ICB
