Recruited to become research physicist
The recent graduate will be the next guest speaker at Science and Nature on Tap, on February 4 at 7 p.m., at Schnitzels in Cornwall.
Tap session will highlight Cole’s evolving interest in science from his beginnings as a student with the St. Lawrence River Insti- tute of Environmental Sciences to his recent graduation from the University of Ottawa where he received a Master’s Degree in Ac- celerator Mass Spectrometry. Un vidéoclip créé par une policière native de Cornwall, concernant le taxage, a gé- néré beaucoup d’attention en ligne. Sandasha Ferguson (née Bough), l’agente de po- lice de London, en Ontario, s’occupe des relations avec les jeunes de sa communauté. Or, celle-ci a eu la brillante idée de créer un vidéoclip ayant pour thème comment les étudiants peuvent combattre le taxage . «Je suis un peu embarrassée, a expliqué Mme Ferguson. Le clip ne devait être montré qu’à une classe de sixième année.» La policière dit espérer avoir attiré l’attention sur le problème. New Travel Guide for CCT Cornwall and the Counties Tourism (CCT) has unveiled its latest annual Travel Guide designed to showcase the entire region as a destination. The 2015 Travel Guide transitioned to a full-sized magazine format in 2013. The magazine features great imag- ery, editorial and all the information a potential visitor might be looking for. The guide features listings of restaurants, accommodations, attractions, calendar of events, and more to entice visitors to the area and prepare them for their trip. “The Travel Guide is something we get excited about each year,” said Linda Wilson, Executive Director of Cornwall and the Counties Tourism. “We are always impressed with the amazing assets we have in our communities, and we are proud to produce an excellent companion for potential visitors to the Cornwall and the Counties region.”
