JUNIOR PROVINCE VICE POLEMARCHS' ROLL CALL

North Central Province: George Akpan Jr. (Sigma 2016)

George T. Akpan Jr. is a Spring 2016 initiate of the University of Wiscon- sin-Madison Chapter, the Beta Omicron of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He is a 23 year old, graduating senior from Milwaukee, WI, receiv- ing his Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering in May 2019. Brother Akpan currently serves as the North Central Junior Province Vice Polemarch and Co-Chair of the Council of Junior Province Vice Polemarchs. Within his University’s College of Engineering, he is recog- nized as a Leaders in Engineering and Excellence Scholar and recipient of the Rodney Hassett Scholarship. In regard to his office of Junior Province Vice

Polemarch, Brother Akpan plans to continue being a servant leader and utilizing his platform to empower undergraduates as well as foster spaces and opportunities for our Chapters to grow.

His experience in Kappa has provided him with ample opportunities to interact with brothers who have significantly impacted his growth and development as a man and leader. Brother Akpan chose to pledge Kappa Alpha Psi because he knew it would help mold himself into a better man not only personally, but for his family, friends and every community he will be a part of for the

rest of his life. He regards brotherhood as a bond that has a foundation upon supporting one another whenever, wherever and however needed. In fact, he believes it instills the Kappa Spirit, which is nothing more than an inward sensibility of membership with demands upon loyalty, cooperation and responsibility that gives practical assurance to the survival of Kappa Alpha Psi. After graduation, he intends to pursue a career in energy consulting and management. Brother Akpan is passionate about serving oth- ers and plans to assist communities around the world with infiltrating our energy grids with clean and renewable sources. All in all, his commitments to Kappa are embodied by his favorite quote which states “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.

East Central Province: Casey Wokocha (Epsilon Chi 2015)

Casey Wokocha is a Fall 2015 initiate of the West Virginia University Chapter the Epsilon Chi of Kappa Alpha Psi ® , Senior Biology Major/Sociol- ogy Minor. Upon graduation, he plans on pursuing a career in Medical Marketing and Medical Billing/Coding. His love in healthcare was always present, working in different healthcare departments. Though, his inter- ests specialized after interning at the Las Vegas Pain Institute, where he was able to experience the marketing side of healthcare and build a strong foundation for the understanding of how insurances are billed.

During his time as an undergraduate Brother, Casey served as the Keeper of Exchequer, as well as the Chapter Polemarch. He has served on the East Central Province Board for two years as the Undergraduate Board of Directors, and now, the Junior Vice Polemarch. While in these roles, he was able to facilitate social, educational, and philanthropical events for his community, and on a regional level. When Casey finds leisure, he loves to discuss sports and current events with friends and building relationships.
