22. NEVER allow any other person to drive the vehicle without written permission from the franchise owner. Any persons not directly employed by MOLLY MAID of are expressly prohibited from driving a MOLLY MAID vehicle. 23. Make sure cargo is placed as low as possible, with the most stable positioning, and secured to avoid shifts during turns and braking. 24. Drivers may not operate MOLLY MAID vehicles that do not meet state and local safety inspection requirements. Therefore drivers must periodically ensure that lights, signals, wipers, brakes, steering, exhaust, tires, suspension, etc., meet applicable requirements. 25. Use low beam headlights at dawn, dusk, or during foggy conditions to let other drivers see you, as well as to improve your vision. 26. Avoid unsafe neighborhoods, especially at night. 27. Keep purses and valuables out of sight. 28. Refrain from provocative gestures or actions that might anger other drivers. 29. Use your horn and/or lights to signal need for assistance. Accident/Collision Reporting Procedure 1. Report all accidents to local enforcement agency. Do not leave the scene of an accident. 2. Make no statements regarding fault, contributory negligence, etc. 3. Obtain name and badge number of investigating officer and cooperate with the investigation. 4. Obtain the names, addresses, phone numbers, vehicle makes, models, and registration numbers of other parties involved. 5. Obtain the name, address, and policy number of other party’s insurance company. 6. Provide same information to the other party. 7. Record time, place, conditions, directions, estimated speeds, lanes, and other pertinent information immediately (claims of water, oil, debris, ice and snow causing accidents often result in vanishing evidence). 8. Notify the MOLLY MAID office immediately to advise the safety officer and the franchise owner and to receive instructions for towing service, repair, and medical treatment (if such emergency services haven’t already been rendered due to the severity or urgency of the accident). 9. Obtain information from witnesses: names, addresses, phone numbers, observations, etc.
