L’École secondaire catholique de Plantagenet (ESCP) a tenu son Brunch des Anges annuel le 2 décembre dernier. Cette activité a pour but d’amasser des fonds afin d’offrir des cadeaux aux enfants défavorisés de la région de Prescott-Russell en ce temps des Fêtes. Les profits seront remis à Valoris pour sa campagne des Lutins de Noël 2018. L’ESCP bat son propre record avec la somme de 4800 $. Jusqu’à maintenant, l’école a remis plus de 52 300 $ à la campagne des Lutins de Noël. —photo fournie
Chevaliers de Colomb de Plantagenet ont récemment été annoncés. Lou Beauchene, de Rockland, a gagné le premier tirage et a donc reçu la somme de 10 000 $ tandis que Paul Corbeil, de North Bay, a gagné le deuxième tirage et a encaissé 300 $. TAKE NOTICE that the City of Clarence- Rockland has identified certain anomalies and is proposing minor revisions to Zoning by-law No. 2016-10 of the City of Clarence- Rockland. TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Clarence- Rockland will hold a public meeting on the 9 th day of January 2019 , at 7:00 p.m. at the Clarence-Rockland Council Chambers, 415 Lemay Street, Clarence Creek , to consider the proposed amendments to the City of Clarence-Rockland Zoning By-Law No. 2016-10 under Section 34 of the Planning Act , R.S.O. 1990, as amended. BY-LAW AMENDMENTS would address certain anomalies and introduce minor revisions to the text of the Zoning By-law No. 2016-10 of the City of Clarence-Rockland. No key map is provided as the amendment applies to the entire municipality. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION relating to the proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment is available for inspection from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the City offices, 1560 Laurier Street, Rockland, or by contacting the Infrastructure and Planning Department at (613) 446-6022. La modification s’applique à l’ensemble du territoire donc aucune carte n’est incluse. L’école élémentaire catholique Sacré-Cœur a organisé son spectacle annuel de Noël le 12 décembre dernier. Sous le regard d’une centaine de parents heureux, les élèves de l’école ont interprété des chansons de Noël et ont aussi dansé.
