tooth is out there for sure this year.” The annual Christmas craft fair showed a good turnout Saturdaymorning as shoppers braved the blustery late-November weather to browse among the tables of several dozen vendors of homemade and handmade crafts, jams, chocolates, and other items, including one-of-a-kind Christmas ornaments and clothing accessories. Most vendors were from the Clarence- Rockland area, many of them regulars fof years, but the Rockland Lions craft fair also attracts craftspeople and their wares from as far as Kanata and Cornwall.
Black Friday weekend was in full swing, which meant shoppers were hunting all over for bargains. So how does a local craft fair compete with that kind of corporate commercial at- traction as the Yuletide season progresses?
