Peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Tuesday October 11, 2011 with her family by her side, Isabelle L’Écuyer (née Delorme) of Dalkeith, passed away at the age of 86. Predeceased by her parents Pierre and Blanche Delorme. Beloved wife of the late Valaire L’Écuyer. Loving mother of Pierrette (Roland St.Pierre) of Grenville (Qc), Thérèse (Brian Provencal) of Dalkeith, Lise (René Beaudry) of Ste-Anne-de-Prescott and her daughter-in-law Anna L’Écuyer, of Hawkesbury. Predeceased by her sons Pierre and André and her daughter Isabelle. Dearly loved grandmother of 9 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by her brother- in-law and 3 sisters-in-law. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and good friends. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Hillcrest funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. Mass of Christian Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St.Grégoire Catholic Church, 137 Higginson Street, Vankleek Hill. Elle était l’épouse bien-aimée de feu Ferdinand Ménard; la chère mère de Raymond, Donat (Thérèse), Yvon (Louise), Robert, René (Francine), Richard (Hélène), feu Marcel, Michel, Micheline, Jean-Pierre, André (Monique) et Hélène (Sylvain); la grand-mère adorée de nombreux petits-enfants et de plusieurs arrière- petits-enfants. Lui survivent également deux frères : René (Georgette) et Maurice, ainsi que deux belles-sœurs et plusieurs neveux et nièces. Une liturgie de la parole aura lieu dans l’intimité familiale en la chapelle de la Maison Funéraire Lamarre & Fils d’Alfred. La famille remercie sincèrement le personnel du Centre d’accueil Mon Chez Nous de Lefaivre, pour son dévouement et les excellents soins prodigués à notre mère.
