Anderson & Vreeland, Inc. and Xeikon America, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement under which Anderson & Vreeland will sell the Xeikon line of dry toner and inkjet-based digital label and packaging presses in the United States and Canada. Fedrigoni S.p.A. , an Italian manufacturer of special- ty papers and high value-added products for packag- ing and fine printing and self-adhesive labels, signed an agreement to acquire the Ritrama Group , an Italian multinational group specializing in self-adhesive prod- ucts.Ritrama has manufacturing facilities in Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Chile and China. Long-standing Nilpeter partner, Geostick Group , added two additional Nilpeter 17-inch FA presses to its line-up of seven Nilpeter presses in the company’s three production plants in Utihoorn,Heumen, andThe Hague, Holland. The two new presses have been in- stalled in The Hague plant. Royston Labels , located south of Cambridge, En- gland, purchased a new Nilpeter FA-4* with multi-lay- er capabilities, bringing its Nilpeter press total to four. The new FA-4* will be utilized for the production of high-end drinks and personal care labels. All American Label and Packaging , Dublin, Cali- fornia, acquired Label Art of California ,Oakland,Cal- ifornia.All American currently produces labels, shrink sleeves, folding cartons, and flexible packaging for the food, beverage, wine, spirits and cosmetics markets. Smartrac Technology Group , RFID technology and IoT specialist, reached a definitive agreement to sell its RFID Transponder Division to Avery Denni- son , which is seeking expansion of its intelligent la- bel portfolio. The Danish manufacturer of paper bags and car- riers, Scanbag A/S , installed a laser anilox cleaner from Flexo Wash for its production plant in Skive. The FW 2000 model, which was introduced in 2018, is the first laser model in the company’s anilox clean- ing range that dates back 25 years and involves more than 3,000 installations. Grupo Lappí Etiquetas of Spain signed for the ac- quisition of a new Nilpeter FA-17,with Nilpeter agent, Maquinaria Esagraf SLU. Fedrigoni Group, a Verona, Italy-based manufactur- er of specialty papers for packaging, fine printing and self-adhesive labels, signed an agreement to acquire Ritrama , an Italian multinational group specializing in self-adhesive products. Kodak introduced its ULTRASTREAM technology in the new Uteco Sapphire EVOW, the first flexible pack- aging press to enter the market using Kodak’s latest continuous inkjet technology.
