• Post-surgical rehab • Respiratory issues • Sports medicine/athletic training • Fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s Disease, and other chronic conditions • Injury rehab • And much more What Are the Advantages of Telehealth? The many advantages of our Telehealth services include: • Flexible scheduling • Secure and HIPAA compliant video appointments • No app or software to install • Works on most smartphones, tablets, and PCs • Prevents transmission of illness between providers and patients

Understanding the concerns of our clients in terms of social distancing, we now have a Telehealth platform for you to utilize through your own computer or mobile device. How Will I Benefit From Telehealth? Telehealth lets you continue connecting - and working with - your physical therapist to get you the help that you need. Essentially, telehealth is a way for your therapist to evaluate your movement, discuss your symptoms and progression, and work with you one-on-one. With telehealth, your physical therapist can provide you with functional movement exercises to relieve pain and improve your ability to move pain- free, all from a remote location. Have a question you need to ask your physical therapist? Looking for advice about your current condition? Want to track the progress you’ve been making?

Telehealth makes all of this possible for you, while still ensuring that you are safely distancing at home! We want you to be able to continue to heal with physical therapy even if you can’t make it to the clinic. Using the platform, we are able to listen, diagnose and offer treatments virtually. For more information on our telehealth services and how they can benefit you, call us at 989-631-3570 or visit our website at ptandrehab.com. What Can Telehealth Treat? Is It Safe for Us to Remain Open? The U.S. Department of Homeland Security released a memorandum on the identification of essential critical infrastructure workers during the Covid-19 response. Physical therapy has been identified as an essential part of our health care system, and it states that we as a health providers have “a duty” to remain an available health care service. “Physical therapists are essential in flattening the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic. They play a key role in keeping people they can help out of doctors’ offices and ER’s. This will not only free up the medical teams to treat those impacted by COVID-19, but also limit the exposure of those seeking the care of the physical therapist.” says Dr. Matos, an official with CDC on the need forphysical therapists during this crisis. The Staff at PTRS believes we are an available resource to the community. If you are in chronic or acute pain, physical therapy can help youwhile keepingour physician offices and emergency rooms available to fight this pandemic. We have a highly experienced teamof therapists who offer services for any pain, injury, or discomfort youmay be feeling. Our patients have found high levels of success in our treatment with us implementing advanced and evidence-based training andmethods. Wework on optimizing and restoringmovement and it is about more than personal health. It’s about transforming lives. As of now, wewill remain open undermodified hours to serve our patients. We do ask that if you are not feelingwell or experiencing any symptoms to please stay home for your own health and the safety of other patients and our team. Sincerely, – Ajay Middha, Madhu Rishi & the Staff at PTRS
