National Payroll Certificates – leading to a Certificate in Payroll Processes Learning day one day Revision day one day Exam 1.5 hours

National Payroll Certificates provide students with a detailed understanding of payroll calculations and reporting. They are ideal for anyone who has to calculate tax and NI, or who process other deductions of pay such as statutory sick pay, maternity pay and student loans.

There are three National Payroll Certificates available and successful completion of all three leads to a level three Certificate in Payroll Processes.

Who are these certificates aimed at? The National Payroll Certificates have been designed to accommodate individuals with little/no payroll knowledge, as well as experienced professionals who want their knowledge formalised into a recognised academic qualification.

The certificates are ideal for: ● Individuals starting their career in payroll ● Accountants providing a payroll service to their clients

● Payroll service providers who process payroll on a daily basis ● Those who have had a career break and want a refresher ● Individuals who wish to gain a formal payroll qualification ● Individuals who are considering enrolling on the Foundation Degree in Payroll Management at year two and want to refresh their knowledge on the fundamentals of day to day payroll operations Why should I invest in this certificate? ● Improved knowledge and confidence within your role ● Greater understanding of how payroll should be administered to comply with legislation ● Reduce risks of compliance penalties, especially in relation to PAYE reporting What do my fees include? l Comprehensive study material provided at the course l A level three Certificate in Payroll Processes (upon successful completion of all three National Payroll Certificates) l Lunch and refreshments at the training courses l Trial membership * of the CIPP for six months following attendance of your first learning day, providing you with access to:

Each certificate consists of a: ● Learning day - one day ● Revision day - one day ● Exam - 1.5 hours

The exam can be taken in the morning, midday or in the afternoon, please state your preference when booking You will need to book your learning days, revision days and exams separately. All three need to be attended for successful completion.
