Monsieur Tsourounakis ajoute que les mesures prises, telle la distanciation sociale, sont sécuritaires et que manger sur une terrasse et retourner à une certaine normalité est essentiel pour une bonne santé mentale.
Depuis vendredi, les terrasses des restaurants ontariens sont réouvertes, dans le cadre de la première étape de réouverture du plan du gouvernement Ford. Sur l’heure du midi, lundi, malgré le temps nuageux, les clients étaient au rendez-vous sur les terrasses de la Main à Hawkesbury. Le propriétaire du restaurant Déja vu, Antonios Tsourounakis, aussi conseiller municipal, affirme être heureux de cette réouverture.
Les restaurateurs semblent heureux de la réouverture, mais ils ne cachent pas avoir aussi hâte de la réouverture de l’intérieur des établissements, surtout pour les jours de pluie.
