THE NEW RANGE OF MANUAL CRIMPING TOOLS K05WF50 AND K05WF95 HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO ENSURE PERFECTLY-FIT CABLE END SLEEVES… Klauke K05WF ferrule crimping
When crimping larger bootlace ferrules (25sqmm+), you can quickly get frustrated by the security of the ferrule onto the cable. This mainly happens due to varying cable strand make-up, class of cable (2, 5 or 6), and the incorrect tool being used to apply the ferrules. In many cases, the combination of ferrule, cable and tool are not sufficiently compatible, and this leads to a poor connection and in some cases the ferrule falling off. The new range of manual crimping tools K05WF50 (25-50sqmm) and K05WF95 (50-95sqmm) has been designed to ensure perfectly fitted cable end sleeves. Ease of use: The tools feature a pre- clamp mechanism. This is a small handle which grips the end sleeve and cable enough to allow precise positioning before completing the crimp using the main handles featuring extra-comfortable grips.
Fewer crimps required: The width of the die sets has been designed so only one crimp is required – even on longer ferrules, meaning a 50% saving in operation time and a neat, square, perfectly-aligned crimp result. Optimum size: The finished crimp is a square design, with ridges for extra pull- off strength, and a flat landing for screw clamp insertion. The finished size of each ferrule has been calculated to ensure a
snug fit into all terminal clamps. The two models have interchangeable dies, meaning you can adapt your tool to the other size simply by exchanging the dies. The tools can also handle double entry ferrules (2x16sqmm).
