Exceptional customer service is at the centre of EWL Electric’s business model, with a focus on responsiveness, product expertise and strong relationships with electrical contractors, industrial clients and project partners across Ireland. Strong and consistent performance is driven by service reliability, stock availability and technical support. Combining the purchasing power and logistics infrastructure of the Edmundson Electrical network with the agility of local decision- making, EWL Electric ensures customers receive competitive pricing, rapid product sourcing and dependable delivery. Customer service standards are reinforced through continuous sales and product training for its teams. Staff regularly participate in supplier-led technical sessions, industry updates, external professional development courses such as Dale Carnegie and internal development programmes, ensuring they remain knowledgeable about the latest electrical technologies, including energy-efficient and renewable solutions. EWL Electric’s model focuses on building long-term partnerships, working closely with leading manufacturers on promotions, product demonstrations and customer engagement events. Committed to staff development, the business has recently invested in graduates and training programmes.
Strong relationships between its team, customers and suppliers are the secret to success for CEF Castlebar. The thriving wholesaler is committed to an ongoing programme of staff training, branch upgrades and expanding its stock with the latest electrical innovations. Opened in 2005, the 5,000sqft unit offers a significant stockholding ranging from lighting, cable, containment and power tools to renewables including EV charging, supplied to the domestic, commercial, industrial, renewables, retail and hospitality sectors. Led by Branch Manager Enda O Hara for 16 years, a team of eight includes Assistant Manager Andy Leadbetter and Account Manager Noel Thornton with Matthew Keane, Ashley West and Damien Connolly in sales, technical support and customer service. CEF Castlebar celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2025 with a supplier trade day, hosted the Milwaukee tool truck and is always looking to build connections between its customers and suppliers by hosting regular trade mornings and customer visits to suppliers’ showrooms. Staff members are constantly upskilled via the CEF Light Up Learning training platform, with Matthew gaining distinctions across 10 EDA modules and Enda completing a Level 8 certificate in Renewable Energy Supplies with Dundalk IT.
