Making a meaningful, lasting improvement to healthcare in the Mid-West, H&F completed a full electrical installation from early- stage design co-ordination to final testing, commissioning and digital handover. Power, distribution and lighting systems all meet the stringent requirements of an acute healthcare environment, alongside multiple life safety and call systems, ICT, structured cabling and security services. Rigorous BIM co-ordination and digital handover, precise enabling works and live tie-ins, and a relentless focus on protecting patient safety throughout construction all reflect a high standard of professionalism.
Colin Burke Electrical wowed judges with its impressive certification and expertise across safety-critical fire detection, life safety and security systems. Specialist capabilities include fire detection, alarm and emergency lighting systems and CCTV, access control and intruder detection. Also offered are UPS systems and critical power infrastructure, low-voltage distribution and associated containment systems, and asset lifecycle management, upgrades and system replacement. A key example of this expertise is its appointment to the nationwide framework for Iarnród Éireann, a five-year service and maintenance contract covering the full Irish rail estate including all mainline and DART stations, depots and operational facilities. This long-term contract demonstrates Colin Burke Electrical’s ability to deliver specialised electrical services at scale within a live, safety-critical rail environment where system uptime, compliance and rapid response are essential.
