Technically and logistically complex, Prowire’s installation at Ruby Lounge & Monaco Tom’s required careful coordination from first fix through to final commissioning. The brief involved delivering two distinct hospitality venues, while also enabling Monaco Tom’s to open and begin trading before the larger Ruby Lounge & Kitchen was complete. To achieve this, Prowire set up Monaco Tom’s as an independent space, with its own distribution boards, controls and life-safety systems. Alongside the full power and lighting installation, the team coordinated the electrical infrastructure needed for specialist trades. Delivered through restricted ceiling voids, limited access and a fast-track programme, the project showcases Prowire’s ability to combine technical planning with a strong finished result.
PMK has set a new benchmark with its CitizenM installation showcasing technical sophistication and operational efficiency. The project spanned 245 bedrooms including 16 disability-access rooms, a ground floor reception and dining space, meeting suites, commercial kitchen and back-of-house facilities. Playing a key role in the project achieving a BREEAM Excellent rating, the contractor overcame challenges such as working around heritage elements in a dense city-centre site. Retention of an existing basement structure influenced service routing, riser coordination and distribution strategies. PMK overcame all challenges with meticulous planning, careful coordination and expert delivery, resulting in a future-ready, highly-efficient, fully- integrated electrical infrastructure.
