Prowire has set a new standard for affordable housing with its high-quality installation at Summerfields Residential Development. The contractor’s scope spanned full power distribution, life safety systems, data infrastructure, EV charging provision, street lighting and integration with Daikin air-to-water heat pumps. Believing local affordable homeowners deserve better, Hager distribution boards and switchgear were used alongside dual fire alarm integration and future-proof cabling. The project demonstrates Prowire’s ability to operate at a fast pace without compromising on quality. A team of 8-10 electricians was on site at all times, managing first and second fix, testing and certification in parallel across multiple units.
Alfa Electrical has risen to the challenge of a complex installation with its exceptional delivery of a high-spec finish in The Residence at College Square. Spanning the top 11 floors of Ireland’s tallest habitable building, this ambitious project provides energy-efficient, future-proof systems supporting modern residential living. Integrating new infrastructure with existing services and life-safety systems, the €2.1m complete electrical package included routing from a ground-floor switch room through the operational commercial building to the upper residential floors and roof plant areas. Stacked containment routes were coordinated between electrical, mechanical and sprinkler contractors following several months of pre-construction coordination.
