June Breakfast Connection The Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre, the Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce and Cornwall & The Counties Community Futures Development Corporation will be hosting the June edition of the Breakfast Connection, on June 15 at the Ramada Inn. The event, geared towards business owners, will highlight the government-proposed Ontario Retirement Pension Plan (ORPP). Issues that will be discussed include implementation timelines, a new funding policy, a clearer definition of employment, and more. The event will also welcome Bonnie Wilson, a Financial Security Adviser with O’Farrell Financial Services. Wilson, whose experience spans 26 years, Bonnie will walk delegates through the many implications and pitfalls of the proposed legislation. The June Breakfast Connection starts at 7:15 am. – Francis Racine Two Agapè volunteers were recently honored for their hard work and dedication. Kristen Graham and Eric Neilsen were finalists in TV Cogeco’s Youth Achievement Awards in the Difference Maker Grade 9-10 category. Kristen has volunteered more than 150 hours in the thrift store and Eric volunteers every Thursday night in the food bank with his grandfather.
