The VCI alumni and NHL line- man donated the jersey and took the time to congratulate Mark Seay and pose for a picture. “Each student who wanted to participate in the sports-a-thon had to raise a mini- mum of $40”, explained coach and teacher Dan Tremblay. “We want our students to be active and while most activities are sports related, the money raised will help all of our extracurricular programs, including music and art.”

VANKLEEK HILL | Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute students recently held a sports- a-thon to raise money for extracurricular activities. Some 90 students raised over $4,000, which will help pay for new goal posts for the planned multipurpose field located on Highway 34, in front of the school.
