CAPDOA wrapped up our December meeting with a bang and a great presentation from Executive Coach and Leadership Development Expert Linda Clark. She presented on “How to Get Kicked Off the Christmas Card List” which helped us to actually avoid having that happen. We are grateful to our many members who also contributed monetary donations to help one of our very own members who lost her home and belongings to an unfortunate house fire this year. This unfortunate event has helped us to remember that our organizations are a community for many of us in this industry. This year CAPDOA will have a new location for our meetings. We will be hosting our meetings at the Will Rogers Theatre - a historic Oklahoma landmark. Our first meeting in February will feature speaker Gayle Riggs, a Petroleum Geologist for Devon Energy, who will finally explain the age old mystery - why it is that geologists always go on field trips! Our new VP Whitney Katigan is currently gearing up to provide a number of interesting and educational speakers in 2018 to expand our knowledge base.
