model already has an overall good fit in terms of general distribution of volumes, presenting an 𝑅𝑅 2 of 0.96. The slope of the curve also tells us that at a global scale, numbers mostly fit well. However, since volumes differ quite significantly, some of the lower volumes’ locations, i.e., non- highways, present more disparity against traffic counts. Figure 7 shows the percent error distribution of the 144 calibration locations, again most of the locations have an error below 40%, showing already good overall fit. The calibration efforts focus on moving most of the locations to lower errors.
