also reviewed how the model predicted values for these locations (51 key locations). Figure 8 and Figure 9 illustrate the model fit for these locations. As shown, the 𝑅𝑅 2 is lower than the global comparison for the key locations, and in some cases the model significantly overpredicts traffic volumes. Within the Core (i.e., downtown), only a few locations require additional attention. Calibration Steps 2–4 were directed at improving model performance at these key and Core locations, which then served as the calibration targets for the ODME process described below.
