PROJECT PURPOSE Risinger Road will be widened and reconstructed from a 2-lane undivided roadway to a 4-lane divided roadway between Hemphill Street and Technology Boluvard. This project will be constructed in two different phases, as bond funding is available. These upgrades are intended to enhance safety, relieve congestion, and support growth in one of Fort Worth’s fastest-developing areas. PROJECT COSTS Estimated Project Delivery Cost $48 million
This road segment connects to commercial corridors will serve as a System Link for the City of Fort Worth. Connects to existing developments to the west of the project and to future development adjacent to the project near I-35W. Shared Use Path (SUP) will deliver safer travel to pedestrians and cyclists on both sides of Risinger Road. The elevated section and the addition of the U-turns will decrease railroad disruption and increase traffic operations.
