National Payroll Week
The CIPP staff event and MHR’s bike ride
On the 3 September the CIPP staff were greeted in the morning by some amazing staff from MHR who were doing a charity cycle for NPW to raise money for Rainbows Hospice. Once we had refreshed and cheered on the MHR cyclists, it was time for CIPP staff to start our own celebrations. This year the carnival came to the CIPP: with classic carnival games ranging from hook a duck, tin can alley to splat the rat, all staff got involved and joined in the fun. But in true meaning of the week, our own payroll colleagues were gifted a lovely bunch of flowers each and also a million thankyous from the staff.

A theme that continues to exemplify the amazing dedication and talent of payroll professionals across the country and the continued strides made by CIPP in promoting payroll.
The level of engagement of payroll teams up and down the country and the support of a range of originations in celebrating NPW 2019 shone throughout the week. It was a chance to network, share ideas, discuss the future of payroll before launching the celebrations at The Savoy. Social media provided a perfect platform for us all to witness the fantastic ways in which the week was celebrated from charity fundraising, training and education initiatives through to team building events.
