NATIONAL PAYROLL WEEK

Ceridian (sponsor) As we celebrated National Payroll Week across the country, it was a great pleasure to attend the fourth Scottish National Conference. This was an amazing opportunity for Ceridian to share our technology with payrollers and share knowledge and best practices with industry experts. No better way to celebrate than a meeting of minds.

Sage (sponsor) National Payroll Week provides an opportunity to highlight the importance of the payroll industry and payroll professionals across the country, from those managing payroll for a large organisation or one of our own payroll team. It’s also given us the chance to network with other organisations and talk about the future of payroll.

Deborah Hill , global business development executive

This twenty-first National Payroll Week is an opportunity to recognise the work of an under-appreciated group of people – and a chance to plan for a more integrated, digital-led future.

Steven Watmore , payroll & HR product manager

Datagraphic (sponsor) First of all congratulations to the CIPP for the biggest National Payroll Week yet. This year we wanted to celebrate the hard work and positive impact payroll has within an organisation, as it is so often undervalued. So, we took a trip to Manchester – along with 200 individually boxed doughnuts – to celebrate with one of the largest payroll teams in the UK, Sainsbury’s. Throughout the week we continued the celebrations in our offices with NPW cupcakes and attended a couple of events hosted by the CIPP, including the Future of Payroll roundtable and the launch event at The Savoy. Well done to everyone involved and we look forward to next year’s celebrations.

Glyn King , group managing director Moorepay (sponsor)

We celebrated National Payroll Week by recognising the hard work and dedication of payroll professionals everywhere. We also launched our brand-new payroll and HR software, so it was a very exciting week for us. And it finished with a big bang – quite literally – with a balloon popping contest. We’re already excited for NPW 2020...

Julie Dansie , director of payroll services

Reward Strategy (media partner) As media partner of National Payroll Week, we are committed to promoting the importance of the payroll profession. It is without doubt payrollers don’t shout out about their achievements enough, which is one of the reasons why this week is so important – these individuals deserve to be recognised. Reward Strategy would like to thank the payroll profession for always paying us, and others, on time and correctly.
