Il s’agira d’une bonne occasion d’obtenir un avant-goût des équipes pour la saison 2012-2013. Les équipes sont en action depuis les mois d’août et septembre. De leur côté, les Panthères ont disputé deux matchs hors- concours face aux Rockets les 21 et 23 septembre derniers. L’équipe de Jay Campbell a remporté une victoire de 5-3 et a subi une défaite de 7-2. Le premier match à domicile des Panthères aura lieu le 5 octobre, face aux Rockets.
Pour leur part, les Aigles ont participé à trois affrontements hors-saison du 21 au 23 septembre. Ils l’ont emporté 2-1 sur les Cougars de Vankleek Hill. Les troupiers de l’entraîneur Jean-François Ducharme s’étaient auparavant mesurés aux Bandits de Cumberland à deux reprises. Ils ont signé une victoire de 6-1 et ont subit un revers de 6-4. Les Aigles ouvriront leur saison à domicile ce dimanche (30 septembre) en accueillant les Panthères, à 19 h 30.

La saison 2012-2013 de la Ligue de hockey junior de la Capitale nationale (LHJCN) s’ouvre ce samedi (29 septembre) avec la tenue du traditionnel Showcase (tournoi inaugural). L’événement se transporte à La Pêche cette année. Les Panthères d’Embrun se mesureront aux Bandits de Cumberland. Les Aigles de Saint-Isidore, eux, affronteront les Rockets de Dundas Nord.
Une fois de plus, les équipes s’affronteront devant des spectateurs qui deviendront de plus en plus nombreux au cours de la saison.
