Canvas Painting Party Big Picture Gallery & Studio in North Liberty (Hwy 965 Suite 3) Saturday, April 7, 11:00-1:00 p.m. What better way to bypass gloomy early spring weather than by painting with bright colors? Attend a canvas painting party at Big Picture Gallery in North Liberty to learn canvas painting techniques with the guidance of an art expert. Each participant will gain a new piece of canvas- painted artwork created by none other than themselves! Cost is $6 per member and $10 per nonmember. Anti-Aging with Ageless Grace Hills Bank in Coralville, lower level (1009 2nd St) Tuesday, April 17 or May 8, 10:00-11:00 a.m. Ageless Grace maintains and strengthens brain health by activating all 5 functions of the brain— analytical, strategic, kinesthetic learning, memory/recall, creativity and imagination— and simultaneously addresses all 21 physical skills needed for lifelong, optimal brain function. The program consists of simple exercise techniques, based on daily, natural movements that focus on preserving body and mind. Both sessions will be led by Beth Pelton, Ageless Grace Educator and owner of Body Moves Fitness and Wellness Center in Coralville. Please wear comfortable clothing.
