HEART SEARCHING MESSAGES
T he world’s oldest Swedish citizen celebrated her 107th birthday one Sunday recently by turning the first spade of earth for a church to be built in her honor in Norwalk, Calif. Mrs. Christine Nelson credits her long life to the fact that she has “ lived a good Christian life.” She drinks several cups of coffee each day and eats whatever is served to the other members of the family. Her three living children and most of her 13 grandchildren, 14 -'jreat grandchildren and two great great grandchildren were present at the party, as well as a group of be tween 500 and 600 well-wishers. Even President Eisenhower took notice of the occasion by sending a personal greeting. Wrote the Presi dent: “ / have been pleasantly reminded that on March 22 you will attain the remarkable age of 107 years. It is so exceptional for one to be spared this far beyond the century mark that you certainly deserve the felicitations of your friends. It is a privilege to join them in wishing you a large measure of happiness on this significant milestone of your long life. Sincerely, ( signed) Dwight Eisenhower
