»Gospod Milan nam je pokazal, kako dela kuhalnice in žlice. Z eno »mašino« naredi jamo in z drugo na repu od žlice naredi luknjo. Imel je take stroje, da vse zbrusi. Žlice naredi iz lesa, najprej ga nareže na male deščice in potem iz teh deščic oblikuje žlico. Lahko izdela tudi leseno vilico ali pa votlo kuhalnico.«
“Mr Milan showed us how wooden spoons and spatulas are made: first, the wood is cut into smaller parts and shaped into a spoon, then a cavity is carved with a machine and lastly, a hole is made on the handle of the spoon. The product is polished with a special machine. He can also make wooden forks or spatulas.”
