Rider lost his whip in the straight when pulling it through to his left hand. Reported the gelding over raced in the middle stages and failed to finish the race off as a result. 23-MAY-20 MUBR Jumped away awkwardly and shifted in contacting another runner. Had difficulty obtaining clear ground from the entrance to the straight-200m. 09-MAY-20 MORP A post-race veterinary examination revealed NVA. 07-MAY-20 WERR Near the 600 metres carried wider. 23-APR-20 PAKM Began awkwardly. Eased down in the straight. Rider could offer no explanation for the performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near hind leg.

Got its head up when being restrained shortly after the start. Held up for clear running from the early stages of the straight. Approaching the 200 metres had to be checked when disappointed for clear running between 17-MAY-20 BDGO Raced keenly in the lead in the middle stages. Tactics queried. Led. When questioned regarding racing in a more forward position, rider explained that the mare began well today and after travelling well in the early stages and lack of pressure from other runners, found the lead. After finding the lead, the mare travelled well.
