Le second, sous le thème «Fête de famille» réunissait les parents d’élèves, les membres du personnel et les amis du Séminaire à l’oc- casion d’une soirée vins et fromages. Les familles, le personnel ainsi que la communauté des Prêtres du Sacré-Cœur ont été mis à l’honneur. Les élèves du «SSC Band» ainsi que des enseignants ont diverti les convives présents par une prestation musicale enlevante.

Les élèves de l’École élémentaire catholique Saint-Jean-Baptiste ont participé, pour la 12 e année consécutive, à une collecte de fonds pour la Fondation des maladies du cœur. La grande générosité de la communauté scolaire de l’école a permis d’amasser 12 000$. L’École élémentaire catholique Saint-Jean-Baptiste a reçu, dans la dernière année, le Premier prix provincial pour le plus haut montant d’argent récolté individuellement en Ontario. Des élèves de la 4 e à la 6 e année entourent l’enseignante en éducation physique, Denise Thibault.
