Background Joint Tax Agent Strategy Steering Group (JTASSG) is a forum through which the tax agent community can steer the development of HMRC's Agent Strategy and the associated change programme over the Spending Review period (2011-15). Proposals include the development of a new, more secure agent enrolment process, putting control of more client transactions into agents' hands and supporting the profession to maintain and, where necessary, improve standards.

HMRC PUBLISHES FINDINGS FROM JOINT INITATIVE WITH AGENTS

HMRC has published the findings from a joint initiative with agents to improve service delivery.
The CIPP would like to remind members of the online forums in particular the Policy & Research General Consultation forum which allows you to post your concerns and ideas for the policy team to take forward. The CIPP works with HMRC at many forums aimed at improving the service for employers.
