Co-curricular Headlines
The boys were able to benefit from the abundance of activities on campus, together with a great number of external trips, both at home and abroad. Rugby • As an official Team Base, Dulwich College welcomed the World Cup Squads from first Romania and then Australia to the campus. Boys were thrilled when the Webb Ellis cup visited The College as part of its 100 day tour ahead of the Rugby World Cup in 2015. • A group of U10 and U11 Junior School boys made the journey over to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to take part in the 2015 Mini Rugby Challenge – they were among the first ever to play rugby at the Olympic Park ahead of the Rugby World Cup • Dulwich College’s three-year reign as U18 champions was ended by Bromsgrove 30-18 in a hard fought final at Twickenham • Dulwich College was victorious in the Under 13 Rugby Rosslyn Park Sevens Tournament Athletics • Dulwich College were joint winners of the inaugural Indoor Simmons Cup • LSAA Championships - there were some excellent performances during the day and Dulwich boys won a total of 13 medals. Noah Armitage-Hookes and Joe Woof each won two gold medals. Joe also qualified for the English Schools Championships (Discus). Cricket • The 1st XI were victorious against Hampton and St Paul’s with Johnny Waugh and Akil Greenidge on outstanding form • The U12 won the Plate at the Reigate sixes • The U15s won the London Schools competition • Dulwich’s U14 A won against Alleyn’s School in the Lord Taverner’s London U14 Cup final Cycling • For the sixth year running, boys took part in the Dulwich Inter Schools Cycling Championships. The ride of the day came from Innes Harvey , who was then awarded the Golden Chainring, a prize awarded to the most impressive rider in each age category. Rowing • At the Kingston Small Boats Head, the Junior 16A coxless four won their category. Aidan Williams had an excellent race and was the fastest Novice Single inhis category.
