The crew crossed the finish line four lengths ahead of the field Water polo • The U14 water polo team qualified for the ESSA national finals in Walsall Swimming • All three age groups qualified for the English Schools National Swimming Finals • The culmination of last season was the ESSA Relays in Sheffield. The freestyle team unfortunately narrowly missed out on qualifying for the ‘A’ final but ended by winning the ‘B’ final. Skiing • British Schoolboys Skiing Races in Meiringen, Switzerland - We enjoyed our most successful year to date, winning 3 individual awards (3rd unregistered U14 - Noah Smith , 3rd unregistered U16 - Sid Shepherd , 2nd unregistered U16 – Ethan Smith ) and 3 team awards including 2nd in the U16 parallel slalom and 1st and 3rd overall unregistered teams. • After successfully taking the English Alpine U16 Ski Championship trophy, Angus Wills competed in the British Alpine U16 Championships in Tignes, France during the Easter holidays, winning the Overall U16 British Champion title Fencing • Congratulations to Nick Howes on being selected to represent Great Britain at sabre in the European Cadet (U17) Championships in Maribor, Slovenia • Felix Schneideman came 3rd in the London Youth Games and qualified for the national final series Charity •  Archie and Oscar Smith organised a very successful coat collection for the London Calling Coat Drive • Alex Whitwell 7L, with a number of his friends, demonstrated and sold magic tricks during Founder’s Day, raising just over £209 for Mind • Alleynians Przemyslaw Macholak OA (13-15) and Jan Rybojad and Michał Dabrowka OA (13-14) followed Shackleton’s spirit of adventure and endurance with their summer project Destination Norway , a charity cycle ride from London to Stavanger, raising over £2,000
