• One of our promising musicians, Alasdair Howell , has been recognised by the internationally renowned pianist Lang Lang • There was a performance by the combined forces of the Chapel and Madrigal Choirs, Dulwich College Chorus and Dulwich Orchestra in the stunning Chapel of King’s College, Cambridge Drama • The Middle School Theatre Appreciation Society enjoyed its first trip to ‘Richard II’ at the Globe which featured among the cast three OAs • More than a dozen current and former pupils were involved with productions as part of the Pleasance Theatre Festival at the Edinburgh Fringe 2015 • Chiwetel Ejiofor OA (90-95) was among the 1,163 people recognised by the Queen in her Birthday Honours 2015 and was awarded a CBE for his services to drama • Nick Galitzine OA (06-13) has been making the news in modelling, music and films. He was on the red carpet in Cannes at the showing of his latest film ‘High Strung’, due for release in the UK later this summer. • Jack Probert , Gabriel Rahman , Hal Howe and Max Parfitt played a central part in a excellent operatic production - the conclusion to the Visual to Vocal project 2015, a combined project with the English Touring Opera and the Dulwich Picture Gallery The Union • The team, consisting of Ned Wildgoose Bulloch , Stanley Traynor , Dylan Pelz and Alex McLean, finished in third place out of a total of twenty five teams, and were the highest placed all-boys team at the International Kids Lit Quiz • Shawn Shen , Zach Zhengyuan , Minghao Zhang and Howard He secured a place in the UKMT final • Thomas Delgado-Little has been ‘Highly Commended’ in the prestigious Stephen Spender Trust poetry translation competition for his translation of ‘The Victims Won’t Speak’ by Carmen Conde • The Dulwich College A Chess team were the overall winners of the ECF Tournament ( Rohan Bansal , Girinath Haridas , Andrew Ng and Jakub Madej ) • Nicholas Flay and Jack Theophanus took their self- directed performance of the legendary Spanish play, ‘Don Juan’, to the NLCS Hispanic Theatre Festival • The first Dulwich College Film Festival led to Tania Campbell-Golding awarding Django Pinter the overall winner from the list of 21 individual productions • Alex Neish followed up on the research he had done into the life, and death of 2nd Lieutenant James Saint , OA, by visiting his grave in France
